GuidedSigner, “we,” “us,” “our,” provides software that helps users review and summarize commercial lease documents using automated analysis tools. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
A. Information you provide
- Account information, such as name, email address, and login credentials, if you create an account.
- Customer support messages, if you contact us.
B. Documents and content you upload
- Lease documents and related files you upload for analysis, for example PDFs, images, or text.
- Any notes or inputs you type into the app related to your analysis request.
C. Payment information
If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by a third party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers. We may receive limited information such as billing name, billing email, payment status, and transaction IDs.
D. Usage and device data
- Log data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, timestamps, and error logs.
- PWA related data, such as whether the app is installed and basic app performance metrics.
E. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar tools to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the service, including uploading, processing, analyzing, and returning results for your documents.
- Operate and maintain the platform, including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and preventing abuse.
- Communicate with you about your account, support requests, updates, and important notices.
- Improve the product, including evaluating feature performance and fixing issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
How document processing works, important
A. Automated processing
When you upload a lease, the document may be processed by automated systems to extract text and generate analysis outputs.
B. Third party AI processing
To provide analysis features, your document content, or extracted text from it, may be sent to third party AI providers that help generate summaries, risk highlights, and structured outputs.
C. No legal advice
GuidedSigner provides software output for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice. You are responsible for how you use the results and you should consult a qualified attorney for legal interpretation.
Data retention, how long we keep things
A. Uploaded documents
By default, we aim to delete uploaded lease files from our systems after processing and within a short time window, unless you choose to save them in your account or a plan feature requires storage.
B. Saved verdicts, if enabled
If you choose to save verdicts, we store the verdict outputs and related metadata until you delete them, or until your account is closed, subject to legal retention requirements.
C. Logs
We may retain basic logs and security records for a reasonable period to keep the service secure, prevent fraud, and improve reliability.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information in these cases:
- Service providers: Vendors who help operate the app, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, file processing, customer support, and payment processors.
- AI processing providers: When needed to generate the requested analysis, as described above.
- Legal and safety: If required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security, and to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers: If GuidedSigner is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Delete stored documents or verdicts from your account, if available.
- Opt out of certain communications, marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link.

Children’s privacy
GuidedSigner is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International users
If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice.
